About Pathway Financial Education and Training
Pathway Financial Education (“Pathway”) is a resource-driven training and education non-profit organization, headquartered at 18th & Vine Streets in the historic jazz district of Kansas City, Missouri. Pathway is committed to providing comprehensive financial training and education to small business owners and individual adults and youth.
The Pathway Mission
Our mission is to provide small business owners and individuals in under-resourced communities with equity and access to highly credentialed professionals having expertise in financial planning, tax services, law, business management and more. Along this pathway, we will expand the circle of financial competency and optimize the potential for financial independence in the community.
Our Guiding Principles
Pathway was founded on the principles of diversity, inclusion, equity and access. Therefore, we embrace these principles and affirm them in our mission. Furthermore, we uphold these principles in our programming and among our instructors.
Pathway Professional Financial Education Instructors
Pathway’s instructors are volunteers who have excelled in their careers. Specifically, they include successful business owners, executives and highly credentialed professionals from Creative Planning. Instructors, while primarily employees of Creative Planning. In addition, instructors, while primarily employees of Creative Planning, may be joined by other volunteers from our expanding partnership.
Pathway’s instructors have degrees in law, accounting and other professions, as well as certifications and licenses in financial planning, insurance/risk management and more.
Our Community Outreach
Pathway proactively collaborates with community stakeholders to ensure inclusion and program relevancy. Through our outreach efforts, we offer transparency, engagement, and a new pathway to economic viability and independence for the community.
