Managing your money shouldn’t feel overwhelming. This workshop will help you understand where your money is going, how to stay in control of it, and how to build a savings plan that supports your goals, no matter your starting point.
You’ll learn how to compare your income and expenses so you can understand your financial picture and make decisions with confidence. We’ll walk through how to create a monthly spending and saving plan that reflects your real life. You’ll practice identifying your needs, wants, and obligations, and learn strategies to decrease expenses or increase income when money gets tight.
We’ll also talk about saving in a way that feels realistic. You’ll explore how to set up emergency savings, short-term savings, and long-term plans, and understand how much you should aim to save based on your goals. You’ll learn different budgeting styles (including the 50/30/20 rule, zero-based budgeting, and the “no-budget” approach) so you can choose the one that works best for you.
By the end, you’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of your money, practical ways to make your paycheck go further, and a simple savings plan you can start using right away. This workshop is designed to help you feel more organized, more prepared, and more confident in your financial life.
