At Pathway Financial Education, we believe financial literacy is a pathway to empowerment, equity, and long-term success. Our 2022 Annual Report highlights the incredible strides we made in reaching learners, expanding our programs, and strengthening our impact on under-resourced communities.
A Year of Growth and Expansion
Since our inception in 2021, Pathway Financial Education has provided free, high-quality financial education to small business owners, high school students, and adults. In 2022, we served more than 400 learners through in-person classes, workshops, and webinars. Our reach extended beyond Kansas City as we hosted our first national webinar, setting the stage for broader impact in the coming years.
Empowering Communities Through Financial Education
Our programs focus on equipping learners with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve financial independence. In 2022, we:
- Hosted 31 financial literacy classes for high school students.
- Provided training to 41 small business owners through our Business Built to Last program.
- Delivered financial education to 94 high school students in collaboration with Operation Breakthrough.
- Expanded outreach efforts by attending community events, engaging with local organizations, and strengthening partnerships.
Strategic Partnerships and Community Support
The success of our programs is made possible by the generous contributions of our financial and community partners. In 2022, we welcomed new sponsors, Ash Brokerage and Apollo Management, who joined our founding supporters, including Creative Planning, the Mallouk Family Foundation, and Royals Charities. Additionally, partnerships with organizations like the Youth Volunteer Corps of America and Mission Vision Project Kansas City helped increase engagement and accessibility for learners.
Looking Ahead: 2023 and Beyond
Building on our 2022 momentum, Pathway Financial Education is committed to expanding access and impact in 2023 by:
- Scaling operations to reach a national audience through strategic partnerships.
- Transitioning to virtual learning with an advanced Learning Management System.
- Establishing a national mentorship network to provide ongoing coaching and support to learners.
We are incredibly proud of the progress made in 2022 and excited for the journey ahead. As we continue to break down financial barriers and empower individuals with essential knowledge, we invite you to join us in shaping a future where financial education is accessible to all.
